Water and vending are intrinsically linked and The Vendies recognise this vital relationship between the two industries by offering water specific awards, sponsored by the EDWCA.

We have listened to the feedback from water companies regarding this year’s categories, and as a result they have been restructured to be more representative of the industry in 2017.

There are now three categories open for companies within the water industry:

Operators – Best Quality Service Award

This is open to all operators providing a service to an end-user. What does good customer service mean to you? We all know that good customer service is crucial. To some, good customer service is as simple as solving problems and offering solutions in an expedient manner. To others it means overall pleasantness and politeness from those who represent the frontlines of the company. What makes customer service ‘good’ depends upon what specific things a particular customer holds valuable or their expectations. What makes you different from your competitors?

Affiliates – Best Affiliate Service Award

This is open to affiliates who offer an ancillary service to the water industry. What makes you different from the rest? How does your service assist customers and do you offer the best deal?

Suppliers – Best Environmental/Innovation Product

This is open to suppliers and manufacturers in the mains-fed and bottled water cooler industry who have launched a project or initiative to improve their environmental and sustainability practice or who have launched an innovative product, product range or initiative in the past two years that has had a significant impact on business, customers industry.

To ensure that all companies within the water industry have the opportunity to be in it to win it, we have extended the entry deadline to Friday 26 May 2017. The online entry form can be found here, and only takes five minutes to complete.

Once entries close, applications will be reviewed by a panel of independent industry experts who will decide on a shortlist for each category. The winner will then be decided by an industry vote, which will open on Friday 2 June 2017 and close on Friday 9 June 2017.

The winners will then be announced during the prestigious awards ceremony on 28 June 2017 at London’s Millennium Gloucester Hotel.
